EVOX RIFA STARTS PERSONNEL NEGOTIATIONS IN SWEDEN

As part of the measures taken to reduce costs, the Swedish subsidiary of Evox Rifa Group Oyj has decided to start personnel negotiations in Kalmar about permanent lay-offs of nearly 100 employees.

Demand for capacitors is continuously weak in most of the customer sectors of Evox Rifa, and improvement in the market situation cannot at the moment be foreseen. Evox Rifa is forced to adjust its production volume and operations to current and foreseeable demand. The Group will continue its efforts to cut costs and to make all its operations more effective.

Evox Rifa AB in Kalmar currently employs 355 people. Evox Rifa Group employs in total about 1400 persons.
