EVOX RIFA STARTS PERSONNEL NEGOTIATIONS IN FINLAND

Evox Rifa starts personnel negotiations at its plant in Finland concerning reductions of a total of 30 people by mid 2004. Personnel reductions are part of the measures taken to reorganize production within Evox Rifa Group and they concern all personnel groups.

Production transfers of small plastic film capacitors from Finland to the Indonesian plant are going on as planned. The Finnish plant in Suomussalmi will focus on the development and production of surface-mounted, radial puls, and other special capacitors.

The number of personnel at Suomussalmi plant will be approximately 120 after the planned reductions.
