EVOX RIFA AND VACON ENTERED A 5-YEAR-CONTRACT OF 100 MFIM

Evox Rifa entered with Vacon a 5-year-contract of supplying specially designed electrolytic capacitors. The contract is worth 100 million FIM. Evox Rifa will invest FIM 20 million in Grþnna factory. Vacon selected Evox Rifa as its partner as a result of a thorough evaluation process.

Evox Rifa has designed this capacitor type in co-operation with Vacon for the customer's new generation of frequency converters. Vacon Oyj located in Vaasa is one of the fastest growing frequency converter manufacturers in the world. From now on Evox Rifa will be a key supplier of capacitors for this new series of frequency converters. Custom-design and manufacturing of special products is one of Evox RifaÕs strengths.

Capacitors will be manufactured in Grþnna plant in Sweden. Evox Rifa will invest FIM 20 million in increasing capacity and efficiency, developing production technology and raising the level of automation in Grþnna plant. The investments will also increase in general the production capacity of corresponding type of capacitors, which enables growth for other customers as well.
