Instead of NPO Ceramics.

Designers of switched mode power supplies often use an NPO ceramic capacitor to set the power supply switching frequency. However Evox capacitor series PFR5 can provide a lower cost alternative.
PFR5 is constructed of polypropylene film and metal foil in a winding especially designed for stability. The curve of capacitance vs. temperature is negative and varies by less that 1% over a typical SMPS operating temperature range. The available capacitance range is 100pF to 0.022µF with a rated voltage of 63VDC. Voltages up to 1000VDC are available.
